Pricing
Track Town Law offers clear, flat-fee pricing for most estate planning work. You should know the cost before you commit.
Track Town Law is a fully virtual law firm based in Eugene, serving clients across Oregon and Idaho. Consultations and drafting happen online. When it is time to sign, you will sign with the required notary and any required witnesses based on Oregon or Idaho rules. You will receive clear signing instructions so your documents are executed correctly.
How our package pricing works
For revocable living trusts, pricing uses an asset-based ladder. As total assets increase, the plan usually involves more accounts to coordinate, more beneficiary planning, more funding decisions, and more risk if something is missed. “Total assets” means what you own, plus major non-probate assets that still require coordinated planning, such as retirement accounts, investment accounts, payable-on-death accounts, and life insurance. If you are near a tier boundary, we will talk through it before you pay anything.
What is included in every estate planning package
Every estate planning package below includes, at no additional cost:
- General Durable Power of Attorney
- Healthcare Power of Attorney
- HIPAA Authorization
Will-based estate plans
A will-based plan is often the right fit when probate avoidance is not the primary goal, or when a trust would add complexity without adding much practical benefit.
| Plan | Individual | Couple |
|---|---|---|
| Will Plan | $1,250 | $1,500 |
|
Will Plan with Testamentary Trust Planning
For minor or disabled children when you do not want distributions made outright.
|
$1,850 | $2,100 |
Revocable living trust plans
A revocable living trust plan is typically the best fit when you want probate avoidance, smoother management during incapacity, and a cleaner plan for your family.
| Plan | Individual | Couple |
|---|---|---|
| RLT Plan, Tier 1 (Under $850,000 in total assets) | $3,000 | $4,000 |
| RLT Plan, Tier 2 ($850,000 to $2,000,000 in total assets) | $4,500 | $5,500 |
| RLT Plan, Tier 3 (Over $2,000,000 in total assets) | $6,000 | $7,000 |
Why Tier 3 begins over $2,000,000: In Oregon, the estate tax threshold is $1,000,000 per person. For married couples, credit shelter trust planning can preserve both spouses’ Oregon exemptions, which can effectively shield up to $2,000,000 from Oregon estate tax. Once total assets move beyond that level, avoiding or reducing Oregon estate tax typically requires additional, more customized planning beyond standard revocable trust structuring. That additional planning is why Tier 3 begins over $2,000,000.
Note on federally taxable estates: Track Town Law does not assist with estate planning for federally taxable estates. Under current law, the federal estate tax basic exclusion amount for deaths in 2026 is $15,000,000 per person. If your estate is above that level, you should work with counsel who focuses on federal estate tax planning.
What a revocable living trust plan includes
- Revocable living trust (individual or joint, depending on what fits)
- Pour-over will(s)
- Trust funding guidance and follow-through support so the plan functions in real life
- Beneficiary designation coordination guidance for retirement accounts and similar assets
- One deed drafted and recorded (filing fee included) to help fund the trust, typically for the primary residence
- Clear signing instructions and execution support
Additional real estate deeds are priced separately because each property and title situation is its own compliance problem. See Deed Drafting and Recording below.
